The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 27 October 2010, the airline Ryanair announced its plan to cut 150 jobs at Frankfurt-Hahn airport. Among affected are pilots and cabin crew. The job cuts follow German government's decision to introduce a tourist tax (8 euro) on flights. Ryanair has stated to reduce its flights and routes from Germany to other destinations.
