Description
Trafford Council has announced that it is to cut 150 jobs in order to save £60 million over the next 4 years. It has said that losses will be felt in all departments and that affected staff are being consulted. The council identified that it would seek to avoid compulsory redundancies. Unison called the timing of the announcement in the run up to Christmas "unfortunate".
