Description

On 8 October 2010, the phone company O2 announced a plan to cut some 1,100 jobs in Germany. Affected are sites all over Germany, i.e. in Verl, Dortmund, Frankfurt, Hanover, Leipzig and Stuttgart. The integration of both companies is to be completed by 31 March 2011 and all departments will be reorganised. Already in summer 2010, O2 had announced to bundle its activities at four sites and sell three call centres.
