European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 1 December 2010, the daily Frankfurter Rundschau reported the loss of 110 jobs at the pharmaceutical company Sanofi-Aventis. Affected jobs are at its development site in Kastengrund, where some 190 employees are working. The site will be closed down in 2011. 110 jobs will be cut and the remaining staff members will be transferred to the company's industrial park in Hoechst.
