European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Thomas Cook has announced that it has cut 500 jobs in the UK. The company revealed the job cuts when announcing full year results this morning. Restructuring has resulted in the loss of 500 support and managerial roles across the company. It expects that the review will save between £40-50 million a year in total.
