Description

Concrete producer Sidirobeton suspended its operations and all 120 employees, at its site at Trikala, will lose their jobs.

According to media sources, Sidirobeton, one of the biggest companies at Trikala, operating in the production of concrete for building purposes, suspended its operations, early this month, and 120 workers remained jobless.

According to the workers the company has not compensate them in regard to two months' accruals, holiday pay as well as severance pay. Members of the left party (KKE) brought the issue to the Greek Parliament in order to ensure workers compensations as well as the possibility of receiving extraordinary aid by the Human Manpower Organization (OAED).
