Description

Johnson Controls, a manufacturer of car seats, has announced the closure if its factory in Geel (Flanders) which will result in the loss of 180 jobs. The 'Renault' procedure (in case of collective redundancy) has already been launched by the management in September but it is subjected to the closure of Opel Antwerp, expected in December 2010. Johnson Controls is a subcontractor of Opel which is the only customer of the company.
