Description

On 25th November 2010 Tona, a traditional Czech hand tools provider, announced its plan to close its factory at Pečky, which will mean layoffs for 130 employees. The company's spokesman indicated the global crisis as the main reason behind the closure. Tona, owned by Stanley Black & Decker, couldn't cope with the decreased number of orders and increasing labour costs.
