Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Kermi, one of the leading manufacturers of shower enclosures and heating technology products, is to create 150 new jobs with enlargement of its manufacturing site in StÅ™Ãbro by mid-2011. The recruitment of employees will begin in November 2010. The firm is looking for skilled workers with specialization in welding, technology and design engineering. Kermi, a subsidiary of Switzerland-based AFG Arbonia-Forster-Holding AG, is the biggest employer in the region.
