European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
One the leading Spanish department stores, El Corte Ingles, announced the opening of a new shopping centre in Tarragona (Catalonia). This business expansion will result in the creation of 863 new jobs. 64% of the workforce will consist of women; the average age of the new employees will be 29 years old.
