European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 16 September 2010, Slovenske železnice, the State owned Slovenian Railway, announced that their restructuring plan had resulted in 754 redundancies. Economic crisis has further deteriorated the situation in the company. The Ljubljana based Railways Company suffered a €9.4 million loss since spring and had to cut cost by reducing its workforce from 7,728 to 6,974.
