The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Mestdagh, a company operating in retail trade distribution, announced its intention to hire between 250 and 300 workers before the 1st October, in order to run the 16 stores that the group bought from Carrefour (see factsheet n.15992). Previously, 381 workers from Carrefour had already been transfered to Mestdagh.
