Description
Tetra Pak has announced plans to close its cartons factory in Wrexham, which will result in the loss of up to 150 jobs. The cuts are blamed on changes in the export market which account for half of the factory's business. The factory employs 265 staff but it plans to keep 115 staff and redemploy another 20 in order to operate a finished goods warehouse. The company has entered a 90-day consultation period with staff and trade unions.
