Description
Central Manchester Hospitals NHS Trust has announced plans to cut up to 1400 jobs in a bid to reduce costs by £120 by 2014. The cuts will also affect medical posts and are likely to take effect from April 2011. The Trust estimates that 350 posts will be cut every year over the next four years. The vast majority of job cuts will be made by not replacing staff who quit. However, compulsory redundancies are not ruled out.
