European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ikea, one of the main world's manufacturers and sellers of furnishing products, is to create 240 new jobs, with the opening of a new store in Catania (Sicily). The new store will be opened in March 2011. On 21 September the recruitment process has started and Ikea has received around 24,000 CV for 240 job positions. In Italy Ikea has 18 stores and 6,300 employees.
