European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Lexel, the cosmetic group specialising in home sales, was declared bankrupt in July by the Commercial Court of Montpellier, which lead to a social plan for 500 redundancies. New investors took over the company on 10th September and have decided to make a further 10 posts redundant in order to preserve the remaining 190 jobs.
