European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Scotrail has announced that the opening of a new rail line in December linking Edinburgh and Glasgow. This will result in the creation of 130 new jobs. Over half the jobs will be based in Bathgate with the remainder recruited across the new route. The line was built with funding from the Scottish government to help to encourage more people to use public transport.
