European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
DAF, the American truck manufacturer based in Westerlo (Flanders), announced its intention to create around 110 new jobs to increase its production capacity from 110 to 125 units per day. In total, a hundred blue-collar workers and ten white-collar workers will be hired. The recruitment will be carried out among workers who had been dismissed in 2009.
