European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
PPF Media, a branch of PPF Group, one of the largest international financial and investment groups in the Central and Eastern European region, has announced 130 job cuts resulting from the termination of its unsuccessful multimedia activities. Almost all employees will be laid off by the end of August 2010. The remainder of employees will be transferred to other division within the company. PPF Media has its headquarters in Prague.
