Hypermarket chain Kaufland, part of the German group Lidl & Schwarz, has announced the creation of 180 new jobs near Turda (Cluj County, North-West region) as result of an investment of 80 million euro in a new regional distribution centre. Kaufland operates in Romania with 53 stores; the group intends to open five to six new units in the second half of 2010.
