Description
OG Elektra, an Estonian retail sale company announced that 200 new jobs will be created by the end of 2010 in six new stores. Between January and August 2010, the company created 130 new jobs by opening five new stores mostly in the capital Tallinn. This job creation has been partly supported by the city of Tallinn through the wage subsidy scheme, i.e. persons employed are chosen among those registered as unemployed and the city finances their wage costs up to the national minimum wage. One more store will be opened before the end of December, raising the number of persons employed in the company to 200.
