European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Esselunga, one of the main supermarkets' chains in Italy, is to create 500 new jobs by the end of 2010. The job creation is due to the opening of five new supermarkets in Lombardy and Piedmont. Esselunga has around 19,000 employees in Italy.
