The creation of the group of banks Cajas Rurales del Mediterráneo in València (CRM) will result in the closure of 29 offices and dismissal of 157 workers. The procedure will start in September 2010.
Cajas Rurales del Mediterraneo brings together many financial institutions: Ruralcaja, Torrent, Crèdit Valencia, Altea, Burriana, Callosa d'en Sarrià, Nules, Alqueries, Cheste, Alginet, Vilavella, Almenara, Xilxes and Vilafamés. The group operates 618 offices and employs overall 2.538 workers.
