European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Swedish mail-order fashion and textile company, Halens, is cutting some 125 jobs at its warehouse facilities in Borås. The company has expanded significantly in Eastern Europe over the past two years and the current restructuring is a direct result of these expansions.
Before the restructuring Halens employed more than 300 people in Borås.
