European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 17 May 2010 construction company Heddes announced it will scrap 70 jobs out of a total of 380. The dramatic drop in turnover in the construction sector casued the move. Procedures to organise the collective dismissal have already been initiated so the lay offs should follow shortly.
