Description
On 9 July 2010 Knorr-Bremse officially opened a new office in Budapest, Hungary to house their research and development operations. In a two-year period the company has hired more than 200 people, putting the total number of employees at around 970 in the new location. The company received state support for the 45 million Euro investment.
Knorr-Bremse have been operating their research and development centre in Budapest since 1995. The group based in Munich, Germany, manufacture braking systems for rail and commercial vehicles.
