European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Qinetiq, a provider of technology-based services and solutions to the defence, security and related markets, has announced plans to cut 391 jobs. The company blames the cuts on the 'challenging business environment' and announced that about 130 jobs would be cut in Farnborough, Hampshire, 230 will go in Malvern, Worcestershire and about 30 more jobs cuts would be spread across its UK operations. No timeline has been given for the implementation of the cuts.
