The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 27 May 2010, the airline company Corsairfly (formerly « Corsair »), a subsidiary of Nouvelles Frontieres (3000 employees in France, TUI group), announced a voluntary redundancy plan involving 380 job losses over two years from among its workforce of around 1,500 employees. The redundancies were unveiled during the outline of the company's business plan, "Take- off 2012".
