European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Southern University Hospital has announced plans to cuts 400 jobs in Essex. The cuts are blamed on the current economic climate and the transfer of some of its services to the community that have resulted in a decline in income. The cuts will affect both clinical and administrative staff while unions worry that patient care will also be affected.
