Description
NHS Lothian has announced plans to cut 700 jobs. The cuts are part of a £31m cuts drive for 2010-11. The organisation said it wanted to reduce the number of agency and bank staff it uses.The job cuts are expected to be made by not replacing workers who leave or retire. The redundancies involve 333 nurses and are expected to take effect during this financial year and the next.
