Description

Comfort Collection, a Polish manufacturer of furniture, is buying a furniture plant in Piecki (northern Poland) and will create at least 130 new jobs there by the end of 2010.

Comfort Collection is currently the leaseholder of the Piecki plant that it is to purchase. In June, the area in which the plant is functioning will become a part of the Special Economic Zone in the Warminsko-Mazurskie region granting Comfort Collection exemption from income tax and facilitating the expansion.

The Piecki plant currently manufactures upholstered furniture, 60% of which is exported to Western Europe and the company plans to increase production after the purchase of the plant.
