European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Forest Research Institute Metla has started to negotiate with workers as it plans to dismiss 115 people. The state-run institute faces a tight budget for the following year and is exploring the possibility of making voluntary redundancies. It is believed that researching staff are safe from the job losses that will affect support roles.
