European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Olimpias, an Italian textile company, is to close its plant located at Grumolo delle Abbadesse (in the province of Vicenza), with the consequent loss of 127 jobs. According to the company, the closure is mainly due to the loss of its main customer, i.e. Benetton, which decided to address its orders to other textile companies. Olimpias group provides customers with a broad range of textile products and services. It refines several textile raw materials and semi-worked fabrics.
