European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
US-based Sykes Enterprises' plan to lay off 241 people at a telemarketing plant in A Coruña has been accepted by the Spanish Labout Inspectorate. The firm had lost some major contracts to rival companies recently. A plan to cut another 39 jobs in Lupo was rejected by the relevant authorities.
