Description
Montreal, a firm specialising in installing, maintaining and repairing electronic networks, presented the Spanish Ministry of Labour with a plan to dismiss all 139 employees. The firm blamed the move on poor productivity and poor market conditions, although its Zaragoza site, where 94 of the workers facing layoffs are based (the remainder being in Madrid), has suffered poor labour relations this year and unions have criticised the decision asĀ "intransigent" and complained about a lack of dialogue with management.
