European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Electrolux, the world's largest producer of domestic appliances, is to cut 300 jobs at its site located at Forlì. In this plant the group employs 1,100 workers and produces ovens. Moreover, the company's plan envisages new investments in order to produce high-quality ovens at the Forlì plant. The trade unions have requested to meet the company's managers in order to find alternative solutions to the job-cuts.
