European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Nissan has announced that it will present a redundancy plan to dismiss 150 workers and reduce the payroll from 650 to 500 workers, 85 through early retirements and 65 through voluntary measures. This was declared in a meeting held by the company management and works council. The company had already presented a temoporary lay-off plan but later withdrew this.
