European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Food company HKScan plans to reduce 200 jobs in Finland at its Ruokatalo business due to weaker results than were forecast.
According to HKScan the basic reason for business difficulties is increased price competition before the EU poultry directive change which comes into force in May and decreasing demand for pork and beef.
