The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Electrical goods chain Laser announced plans to cut 140 jobs in Northern Ireland. The company went into administration last week, but on 9 April KPMG announced that the business could not be saved. Most of the employees have already been made redundant while a number have been retained to assist with the orderly closure of the company.
