European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 11 March 2010, Valeo, manufacturer of automotive components, announced that the company will cut 600 jobs worldwide. It is reported that the internal reorganization of the company will lead to 600 job losses out of 52,000 employees.
The changes are to be implemented by mid-2011.
