Description

Prevent Global, manufacturer of car seat covers is to close its factory in Mirna na Dolenjskem in the Jugovzhodna Slovenija region. The existing contract with Volkswagen will expire by the end of May and the owner is not able to acquire new orders. According to the management, production is gradually moving to countries with lower labor costs. As a result, by the end of May 2010, 250 employees, all women, will lose their jobs.
