European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Czech coal mining company Lignit Hodonín went bankrupt with 210 job losses. The firm has been facing insolvency since September 2009. As the employer did not pay salaries to its employees, about 160 employees already left the site in January 2010.
