The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Swedish shipping company Stena Lines will recruit 100 employees in Karlskrona in autumn 2010. The company will spend SEK 1 billion (€100 million) on its business expansion covering a number of lines across Scandinavia and Europe. Passenger ferries operating between Gothenburg and Kiel are going to be moved to the Karlskrona-Gdynia line. As a result, 100 employees in command, deck and service will be recruited in Karlskrona this autumn. The passenger capacity will double as a result of the expansion.
