European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The national post service, Post Danmark, announced 25. January 2010 the closure of Postcenter Ringsted, whereby 260 employees will be made redundant. The reason for the closure of the post centre, which is the smallest within Post Danmark, is a significant fall in the quantity of post. The distribution of packages and post will in the future only take place four places in Denmark. The closure is expected to take place during 2010. Post Danmark has around 21,500 employees.
