Danish biotech company Genmab, based in Copenhagen, announced 14 November 2009 300 dismissals worldwide, mostly in research and manufacturing of which 120 out of 200 at the headquarters in Copenhagen. The move is part of a broader restructuring effort to cut €130 million in annual costs, as the company shifts more development work to outside contractors.
