Description
A Maltese company Premier Capital that operates McDonald's restaurants in the Baltic States, is to open 2 new restaurants in Vilnius and Kaunas in the second half of 2010. Approximately 150 new jobs will be created in the newly opened restaurants in Lithuania. Premier Capital has acquired the McDonald's restaurant chains in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia in 2007.

On 17 November 2010 a fast food chain McDonald's announced creation of 60 new jobs in Kaunas by the end of 2010. The company spokesman said that 40 people will be employed before the official opening of the new venue, while the other 20 will join the team in early 2010.
The Maltese company Premier Capital Ltd, McDonald's franchise owner in the Baltic region, which has a workforce of 500 people in Lithuania, invested 7 million Litas ( around 2. 02 million Euros) into their fast food business in Lithuania. With the opening of the second McDonald's restaurant in Kaunas the total number of McDonald's restaurants in Lithuania increased to 9, same as in Estonia, where 2 new restaurants were opened earlier on this year, while Latvia has got 8 restaurants. In 2010 Premier Capital Ltd invested 34 million Litas (nearly 10 million Euros) in the Baltic State Region.
The Premier Capital Ltd announced plans to invest additional 8 million Euros in to their fast food chain in Lithuania and open 2 new restaurants by 2013.
