Description

BMW's Mini plant in Swindon is to cut about 100 jobs by the end of the 2010. Approximately 1000 people currently work at the plant. A spokeswoman said that the workers were being offered voluntary redundancy or assistance to enable them to relocate to the company's Oxford plant. The company is working with union representatives at the plant to look at voluntary options and to help the affected employees.
