European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Cast steel manufacturere Arcelor Mittal Poland is to cut 1055 jobs in 2010. The job reduction will affect all its units across the country due to shrinking demand. Certain (yet unspecified) amounts of staff will be released on early retirement and some of the job losses will come via natural retirements. The remaining employees to be laid off will be offered redundancy packages.
