Description
Nordzucker, Europe's second largest manufacturers of sugar, announced a restructuring and saving programme including 300 job cuts. According to management, this is due to the acquisition of the Danish Danisco Company in 2009 and the current competitive situation on the European sugar market. The restructuring plan aims at saving €67 million until 2014/15. As of February 2010, no information on the countries concerned is available.
