The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ryanair will create up to 200 new jobs as it builds a second maintenance hangar at Glasgow Prestwick Airport. It has also announced 3 new routes from Edinburgh Airport to Faro, Paris and Marrakech. Ryanair is also putting more flights on existing routes from Edinburgh and Prestwick.
Alongside Ryanair's £8m investment the Scottish government are contributing £1.5m to the project. No details were given on numbers currently employed by the company or the date by which the new jobs are expected to be created.
